LEGAL COMPLIANCE ADDENDUM
IMPORTANT LEGAL DISCLOSURES
1. NON-LICENSED STATUS DISCLOSURE
Resilient Roots Living is not a licensed residential care facility, group home, or treatment program under the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD).
Resilient Roots Living operates as:

Shared residential housing

A standard landlord-tenant relationship

With optional, voluntary independent living support services
No services provided require licensure under Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations.
2. NO MEDICAL, PERSONAL CARE, OR SUPERVISION
Resilient Roots Living does not provide:

Medical or mental health treatment
-
Medication management or administration
-
Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, or feeding

Continuous or 24-hour supervision
Residents must be capable of independent living or arranging their own care through third-party providers.
3. FAIR HOUSING & NON-DISCRIMINATION NOTICE
Resilient Roots Living complies with:

Applicants and residents will not be discriminated against on the basis of:

4. REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION PROCESS

Resilient Roots Living may request reliable verification when the disability or need for accommodation is not readily apparent, as permitted by law.
All requests will be evaluated on an individualized, interactive basis and documented in accordance with FHA and FEHA requirements.
5. SOBER LIVING DISCLOSURE (IF APPLICABLE)
If the residence operates as sober living housing:

Residents agree to maintain a drug- and alcohol-free living environment

Compliance is a condition of tenancy, not treatment

No clinical, counseling, or recovery services are provided by Resilient Roots Living
Participation in outside recovery programs is voluntary and self-directed.
6. NO PLACEMENT OR GUARANTEE OF HOUSING
Completion of this intake form:

Does not guarantee housing

Does not constitute acceptance

Does not establish residency
Housing decisions are made based on:

Availability
-
Standard rental criteria
-
Ability to comply with house rules and occupancy agreements
7. EMERGENCY & LIABILITY LIMITATION
Residents are responsible for:

Managing personal medical, mental health, and emergency needs

Contacting emergency services (911) when necessary
Resilient Roots Living staff or affiliates may contact emergency services if there is an imminent risk of harm.
Resilient Roots Living is not responsible for the acts or omissions of residents, guests, or third-party service providers.
