Is Resilient Roots Living a treatment or licensed facility?
No. Resilient Roots Living is not a licensed facility and does not provide treatment, medical care, personal care, or supervision. We operate as shared housing under a standard landlord-tenant relationship.
Is this a sober living home?
Yes. Resilient Roots Living is a drug- and alcohol-free housing environment. Maintaining sobriety within the home is a condition of residency, not treatment or therapy.
Do you provide counseling, case management, or recovery services?
No. Resilient Roots Living does not provide counseling, therapy, case management, or recovery services. Residents may participate in outside programs or services of their choosing.
Is residency tied to participation in any program or services?
No. Residency is not contingent on participation in any services, programs, or meetings. Housing and any outside supports are fully separate.
Do you provide 24/7 supervision or staff on site?
No. We do not provide 24-hour supervision. Residents are expected to live independently and manage their own daily activities.
Who is a good fit for Resilient Roots Living?
Our housing is a good fit for individuals who:
- Can live independently
- Are committed to a sober lifestyle
- Can follow house rules and respect shared living spaces
- Are actively engaged in work, school, training, or other productive daytime activities
Who may not be a good fit?
Our housing may not be appropriate for individuals who:
- Require medical, personal, or mental health care
- Need daily supervision or assistance
- Are unable to maintain sobriety within the home

How many residents live in the home?
Occupancy varies based on room availability and local regulations. Rooms may be private or shared.
What amenities are included?
Amenities include:
- Free high-speed internet
- Daily dinner
- Snack pantry with dry foods and fruit
- Washer and dryer on site
- Fully furnished common areas
- Game room / recreation space
- Clean, quiet, and structured household environment
Are residents required to work or attend school?
Residents are encouraged to maintain active daytime routines such as employment, education, training, or program participation. This supports independence and stability but is not enforced as a service requirement.
How do I apply for residency?
Applicants complete an intake application and review house standards. Submission of an application does not guarantee housing and does not establish residency.
Do you accept referrals from agencies or programs?
We may accept self-referrals or referrals; however, Resilient Roots Living does not place* residents, and referrals do not guarantee acceptance.
Do you accommodate disabilities?
Yes. We comply with the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). Reasonable accommodation requests may be submitted and are reviewed individually.
What happens if a resident violates house rules?
Violations of house rules, including substance use, violence, or illegal activity, will result in immediate termination of tenancy, consistent with the occupancy agreement and applicable law.
Is Resilient Roots Living women-owned?
